Outfit planner app if you hate shopping
Updated 15 September 2026
Matchy is the fix. If you hate shopping, the app should reduce trips, not add a discovery feed. Log the rotation. Wear it. When a piece dies, replace that job. A gap check should usually return 'you already have this'. If a wardrobe app is full of other people's closets and shoppable collages, it is an enemy. Matchy, a boring notes list, or Stylebook as a file cabinet are the temperament match. Combyne is not.
Matchy is built to dress you from what you own and to stop a duplicate buy, which is the only shopping a hater should do. Download it on iPhone.

What this morning actually looks like
You would rather wear the same look than enter a shop. That is rational. The risk is letting the rotation die until nothing is left, then suffering a huge trip. A small, hated replacement of a dead pair of shoes is better than an annual crisis haul.
What to add first
Add the living rotation and nothing aspirational. If the home screen of an app is a store, you already know to leave.
- The whole living rotation
- The dying pieces, tagged in your head as 'next replacement'
- Nothing aspirational
The shopping trap
Sales, gift cards, and well-meaning friends in malls. Also wardrobe apps with shop tabs as the home screen. If the home screen is a store, leave.
Packing for people who hate shopping
Pack the rotation. Do not shop at the destination because you 'forgot' on purpose. You did not forget. You avoided. Pack the look.
What Matchy will not do
Matchy will not make shopping fun. We will not gamify a haul. If you want a human to shop for you, that is a stylist service, and it is shopping with extra steps. We will not go to the store.
Try it on the next real morning
Download Matchy on iPhone. Add the pieces above. Take the look. Do not wait until the closet is complete.
